Macomb County 4-h and Soroptimists of Greater Macomb Partner to Hold Career Exploration Workshop for Girls: Dream It, Be It

Soroptimist’s Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls helps girls ages 14-18 grow up to be strong, successful, happy adults. The program provides girls with access to professional role models, career education and the resources to live their dreams. Participants in this program will learn about career opportunities, setting and achieving goals, overcoming obstacles to success, and moving forward after setbacks. The program provides girls with access to professional role models, career education and the resources to live their dreams. 

The workshop will be held on Saturday, January 14 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the MSU Extension Assembly rooms at the Verkuilen Building (21885 Dunham Rd. Clinton Township, MI 48036). Participants can start off the New Year by participating in this workshop that will provide them with the tools they need to achieve their goals.

This free workshop includes lunch and a chance to extend participation through a monthly virtual mentoring program from February 2023 – May 2023. Mentoring sessions will be tailored to participants’ interests, experiences and goals, and will expand on workshop topics, allow participants to work on the skills provided and provide additional resources to ensure they have access to the education and training needed to be successful.
