It’s time for the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office Christmas Gift Card Giveaway.

For the past several years, the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office has been passing out gift cards during the Christmas holiday to those in need and many other appreciative people. This would be done live on Facebook and the cards were given to people at random. Because of all of the kindness shown by our citizens, businesses, and staff, these giveaways have been a huge success.

For our 2022 Gift Card Giveaway, we will not only be handing out gift cards live but also donating donating needed items to various organizations and families within Macomb County. We will still be doing this live on Facebook so everyone at home can follow along. We know this will still bring joy to so many individuals throughout our communities. This is one of the most fun and rewarding events we get to do all year.

Snitch, our Elf, will also be returning soon and will be riding along with us live.

If you have donated in the past, we thank you. If you would like to donate this year, we would appreciate that as well. We could not do this without your help and any amount helps! Walmart and Meijer are both excellent places to purchase gift cards because a variety of items can be found there. Please make your donations no later than 12/19/22.

Gift Cards or cash can be dropped off or sent to:Macomb County Sheriff’s OfficeC/O Sgt. Renee Yax43565 Elizabeth Rd.Mt. Clemens, Mi. 48043Gift Cards may also be emailed to: Renee.Yax@macombcountymi.gov (you don’t even have to leave your house)

Please don't forget to leave your name and address so you can send you a thank you or recognize your business! Every little bit helps make this holiday brighter for those who may not be as fortunate as ourselves.

As the holiday approaches we will keep you posted on when we will stream Live on Facebook to make all of these special donation deliveries. Thank you, please share, and stay safe!
