Macomb County Department Of Roads issued the following announcement on Aug. 8.
As part of the Department of Roads concrete Pavement Preservation Program (PPP), starting August 10, contractors will be closing one eastbound lane and one westbound lane on 16 Mile Road from 1000' east of Schoenherr Road to the Red Run Bridge. The project includes concrete pavement repair with related joint repair, drainage, and restoration work. The contractor will maintain access to residential and commercial properties throughout the project. We request your cooperation and patience. Please note: All proposed dates are subject to change due to weather conditions.
