Macomb County Clerk-Rod issued the following announcement on April 27.

All registered voters are now eligible to vote by mail. Voting an absentee ballot by mail is easy, convenient, safe. Votes cast via absentee ballot count the same as ballots voted in person.

The easiest way to do this is to sign up for your community's "Permanent Absentee Voter Ballot List." Click below for the link to do so on-line.

Signing up for the permanent AV list does not mean you MUST vote absentee. Rather you will automatically receive the application to do so before every election. If nothing else, it serves as an automatic reminder that an election is approaching.
