Macomb County Animal Control is asking for your help!!
We need your help in Identifying 2 dogs that were involved in a fatal attack leading to the death of a beloved pet, and serious injuries to 3 residents. The incident occurred last night in Roseville (10/5/20) around 6pm on Frazho at Kathy Street, between Hayes Rd and Gratiot Rd. A woman was walking her dog and was viciously attacked by two dogs running at large. Residents who witnessed the incident occurring and tried to assist the woman and her dog were unfortunately also bitten in the process. Witnesses describe the aggressor dogs as one being a large stocky black pit bull type dog with a white chest and the other a smaller red/brown pit bull type dog. The victims are currently undergoing very painful post-exposure Rabies treatment, but unfortunately a 10 month old Beagle lost its life.
It is important that anyone with information please contact our office or Roseville Police Department at (586)775-2100. We are hoping that someone may have images or videos that may have been captured on various security systems (such as Ring doorbell) to help us clearly identify the dogs involved. If you have pertinent information regarding this attack please contact Macomb County Animal Control at (586)469-5115.
The focus of this post is solely on identifying where the dogs reside so we can help prevent this from happening in the future not to create a debate regarding breed.
