45 - that was the run total for Unit 3.
Without a storm, down power lines, or a random smell of natural gas permeating the area, this was a significant increase in run volume for the day, many of which were medical emergencies; almost double our normal amount. As dual-certified firefighters and paramedics, it a great benefit to the community to be able to properly mitigate that many emergencies through one department. We never know when runs will come in or what resources may be needed, but we know as professionals we need to be ready for any and all emergencies on a given shift. Thank you to Roseville Fire Fighters Union Local 1614 and Harrison Township Firefighters Local 1737 for their assistance throughout the day.
