Please share this information, especially with your senior citizen family and friends. The scammers are getting bold. This one decided to leave a voice message. Luckily the victim knew this was a scam and did not respond.
Please remember if you decide to return these messages that we will not ask for money, gift cards, or bit coin. Any bonds are taken inside our building at the bond office through a bond clerk.
If you get a call stating you have a warrant, citation, missed jury duty, fail to register as a sex offender, etc and you believe this is false, please call us, or better yet, come in and speak to someone in uniform.
Know that the scammers can spoof our phone number and that our names our often easy to find. If you have a gut feeling, go with it.
Lastly, to the person who made this call, please put in some effort. We don't even have a citation and warrant division.
