Maccomb Community College issued the following announcement on Nov. 2.
Beginning Nov. 11, registration is open for all admitted and current students interested in taking winter 2021 classes at Macomb Community College.
The college continues to prioritize the health and safety of students during the ongoing pandemic and will offer classes primarily online. There will be a limited number of on-campus classes held in the Public Service Institute and Health & Human Services program areas. All other classes will be offered in one of the following three formats.
- Online: Students virtually engage with the class weekly according to their availability except for test dates and other assignment deadlines.
- Remote: Students virtually engage with the class on specified dates and times.
- Hybrid: Students meet both virtually and on campus. Virtual class meetings are held in online or remote formats, while the on-campus meetings occur on specified dates and times.
Online registration is available daily except from 12 to 1:30 a.m. and from 6 a.m. to noon on Sundays. Records and Registration staff are available to assist students with questions about registering using Student Planning at 586.445.7999 #4 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Student Services personnel are also be available Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 586.445.7423.

The first day of the winter semester is Jan. 11, 2021.
