Sen. Michael MacDonald (R-Macomb Township) hosted a virtual town hall meeting on April 6, with over 900 residents participating.

“I hosted a tele-town hall to help answer some questions from the people of Macomb about the virus, our state’s response efforts to it and what people can do to help protect themselves and others. It was a tremendous success, and I want to thank everyone who participated," MacDonald said in a news release

During the virtual town hall meeting, residents could speak and ask MacDonald questions. Dr. Mohammed Arsiwala joined MacDonald for the town hall to help answer COVID-19 health questions.

“I hope the tele-town hall was able to answer some important questions,” MacDonald said in the release. “Hopefully, the situation will improve soon, and we can all return to our regular way of life. In the meantime, I encourage families to continue to take the proper precautions to protect themselves and their loved ones and to call the COVID-19 hotline or contact my office if they have any questions.”
