Macomb County Sheriff's Office issued the following announcement on March 25.
With all that is going on in the world we ask that you remember 911 is for emergencies only. Our 911 dispatchers have received many calls regarding the Governor’s Executive Order 2020-21. In order to keep our dispatcher’s available to handle emergencies we are asking that you refer to https://www.michigan.gov/…/0,9309,7-387-90499_90705-522626-… if you have questions about this order.
If you would like to make our office aware of a non-essential business that is currently open for business you can email us at sheriff@macombsheriff.com. Please add a subject of “non-essential business”. Do not call 911 to report non-essential businesses.
