Candice Miller issued the following announcement on Oct. 26.
Macomb County Public Works crews taking advantage of the mild fall weather to mow the Clinton River Spillway restoration areas. Mowing these areas in fall helps to disperse the seeds of the newly established native vegetation to encourage regrowth next year.
Spillway restoration is funded in part by grants from NOAA and EPA under the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) program.
