Macomb County Sheriff’s Office issued the following announcement on Sept. 7.
Life jackets save people and pets! Today our Marine Division got to reunite this dog with its owners. The dog fell overboard during their journey and when they realized the dog was gone she was nowhere in sight.
The Marine Division searched for the dog who was located in the water by another boat. Putting a life jacket on the dog saved its life. We were happy to meet this loving girl and happier to see her back in the arms of her owner.
