That simple little sound of locking your doors

That simple little sound of locking your doors can save you a huge headache in the morning.

We know this seems like a silly reminder but if we didn’t need to put it out, we wouldn’t. We have had several vehicle thefts in the last few days.

1. Do not leave your keys in your vehicle (even if your home). (Yes, “duh”. – no need to put it in the comments. Nobody deserves to get their property stolen)2. Lock your doors. Make it a habit!3. Do not leave valuables in your vehicle, especially where people can be tempted by them. This includes simple things like change.

Macomb County is a great place to live, but no community is perfect. Protect your stuff. Even with camera’s, once its gone, its gone. We love meeting our residents but would rather not do it while taking your stolen vehicle report.
